GNYHCFA PDPM Skills Workshop July 24, 2019
As you are aware effective October 1, 2019, a new case-mix classification model – the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) will be implemented for Medicare Part A stays. NYSDOH will review PDPM for Medicaid stays over the next. PDPM relies on over 180 MDS item fields. Failing to accurately code patient needs from the outset will have a significant impact on reimbursement.
GNYHCFA is proud to offer a PDPM skills workshop to assist your staff to effectively operationalize PDPM. This skills workshop facilitated by Nelia Adaci of the CHARTS Group will take a comprehensive look at strategies and tools to promote your facility’s success clinically and financially through positive clinical and financial outcomes.
While this is a nurse-focused training, non-nursing personnel who are essential to PDPM implementation in your facility are welcome to attend!
