Robin C. Rosen serves as Chief Counsel and Labor Counsel for Greater New York Health Care Facilities Association. In her capacity as Labor Counsel, Robin’s practice focuses on advising and assisting our members in both union and non-union labor and employment issues. Robin represents members at arbitration, grievance mediation and in contract negotiations. She interprets collective bargaining agreements and is available for consultation on Federal, State and local labor and employment laws and issues. Robin also represents members in State and City human rights matters, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) matters and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) matters. She is also available to conduct on-site in-service education on various employment matters, including disciplinary issues, Federal and State labor and employment laws and requirements and contract interpretation and application.
In addition to her roles as Chief Counsel and Labor Counsel, Robin also serves as an Employer Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the 1199SEIU Greater New York Funds, including the Benefit Fund, Pension Fund, Education Fund, Worker Participation Fund, Job Security Fund and Long Term Care Advocacy Project. She also sits on various committees related to these Funds.
Robin is a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Labor Law section. She is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Robin has worked at Greater New York Health Care Facilities Association since 1996. She received her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from SUNY Stony Brook.
